Mr. Zimmerman received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1980 and his L.L.M. in Taxation in 1982 from the University of San Diego School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Zimmerman attended the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with degrees in history and political science with a minor in accounting.
Mr. Zimmerman has served as a judge pro tem for the Orange County Superior Court since 1987. He has served as a court appointed arbitrator in more than one hundred cases for the Superior Court for the County of Riverside.
Mr. Zimmerman is admitted to practice in all state courts of the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California, the United States Tax Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California. He is an Orange County lawyer.
Mr. Zimmerman has been an active supporter of various pro bono programs of the Orange County Bar Association. Since 1992 he has coached a high school team in the Mock Trial Program of the Constitutional Rights Foundation.
